Key points (plain English)
· 16+ to have an account (under 16 only with verified parental consent; under 13 not allowed).
· Wellness only. The Ring/App are not medical devices and don’t replace a doctor.
· Returns: Retailer rules if you bought via Amazon/others. Direct leephealth.com orders follow UK/EU distance-selling rights (cooling-off at least 14 days; we may offer 30 days).
· Liability: If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at the price you paid for the device.
1) Agreement & eligibility
By using the Services you agree to these Terms. You must be 16+; under-16s require verified parental consent. No use by children under 13.
2) Account & security
Keep your credentials confidential and ensure your information is accurate. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
3) Product classification & medical disclaimer
· The Leep Ring/App are wellness/lifestyle products.
· Not a medical device; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, nor to inform diagnostic, treatment, emergency, or dosing decisions.
· Accuracy may be affected by physiology, environment, device fit, battery, and third-party data. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. You use the Services at your own risk.
4) Safety instructions
· Ensure proper fit; do not wear too tight (avoid restricted blood flow).
· Discontinue use if irritation/redness/swelling occurs; seek medical advice if needed.
· Keep away from children (choking hazard).
· Do not pierce, disassemble, crush, or expose to excessive heat/water/pressure.
· If you have epilepsy/photosensitivity, circulatory issues, heart disease, skin abrasions, or are on photosensitising medication, consult a clinician before use.
5) Services & availability
Offline sync/processing is core; network is required for account setup and optional cloud backup/restore. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with notice where reasonable.
6) Purchases, returns & warranty
· Retailers/marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Kickstarter, other third parties): their payment/returns/warranty terms apply.
· Direct from leephealth.com: we comply with UK/EU distance-selling rules, including at least a 14-day cooling-off period (and may offer 30 days). Specific warranty/returns terms will be provided at checkout and prevail if different.
7) Third-party services
Apple Health, Google Fit, and future partners are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Leep isn’t responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, or security.
8) Intellectual property & licence
The Services, software, and content are owned by Leep or its licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App and firmware. No reverse-engineering, copying, scraping, or derivative works.
9) Prohibited conduct
Don’t misuse the Services (e.g., interfere, bypass security, use for unlawful purposes, resell, or exploit the Services commercially without permission).
10) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
· Leep is not liable for: data accuracy, missed insights, connectivity/sync failures, battery life, loss due to improper fit or use, or issues caused by third-party services.
· Maximum aggregate liability for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the device (or £100 if the Services are free-only), excluding death/personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11) Disclaimers & warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties (merchantability/fitness/non-infringement) to the extent permitted by law.
12) Termination
You may stop using or delete your account at any time. We may suspend/terminate access for breach, unlawful activity, or risk to others. Certain clauses survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law).
13) Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update Terms from time to time. We’ll notify you of material changes. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
